Meet Millie Dantzel
She is here! Our sweet Millie Dantzel is here! This was my first time being induce and I will admit I was a bundle of nervous. With my pregnancy being more of a high risk I was more nervous for this birth than any of my other ones. I was so relieved that all was okay when they handed me my new daughter. She is perfect and we are both healthy. So many prayers were answered. Picking her name was a little tricky. It came down to either Lucy or Millie for her first name and either Fielding or Dantzel for her middle name. She was quickly named Milie after…

Where to Build…
Our baby girl is due in about two weeks! I can’t believe the day is finally here. So of course we snuck down to the property for one last visit before she comes. It’s crazy to think that the next time I come here we will have another new little one with us. Can I just say it looked so different this time around. I have only been here when everything was green. Now the trees have officially lost all their leafs so you can see the lay of the land a little bit more. Now is the perfect time to really narrow down where we are wanting to build…

Time to Explore
Our September trip out to the property was a big deal for me. With this pregnancy I have technically been high risk, which means my hiking through the woods have been limited. Most of the time I spend with the kids, going on little adventures and explore the creeks… and try to help out where I can. But this trip was different. This trip was extra exciting because the road was done enough that I could drive back to our section of the property and really see it for the first time. I was beyond excited. It was time to explore! It felt so good to walk through the front…

Breaking in the road
It started! Jake’s parents flew out and we all went down to the property to work! We officially started breaking in the road and clearing a path to the back of the property. Of course, it ended up being the hottest week in Ohio this year, but it was worth it. The boys got so much done! After the boys came back to the campsite from working, Emma officially declared that there are two smells that she can’t stand… “garbage and sweaty man smell”, haha! (…She wasn’t wrong). But like I said, worth it! While the boys worked, I stayed back with the kiddos to explore and play in the…

A Start of a New Adventure
We have some huge news! We are about to start a new adventure and I can’t wait. We decided to do something big, a little crazy, and a lot of fun…. and it’s not just us. We have been keeping this a secret for a while because we weren’t sure if it would actually happen, but it’s time to share. Ready?? We convinced some of Jake’s family that Ohio is where they should be! We have loved living here and especially living next to Jake’s brother, Jared, and his family. But, we are so excited to have even more family close by! Jake’s sister, Rachel, just moved out here a…

Swig Cookie Copycat
When our family was out in Utah a few months ago, we couldn’t wait to find a Swig to go to. For those of you who don’t know, Swig is a drive by soda and sweet shop. But it’s not just normal soda it more like fancy soda mockatils with the most amazing sugar cookies! And even though we were in Utah for only a couple of days, I think we went to Swig three or four times. It is just so good!… and that is saying something coming from a girl who doesn’t normally drink soda, but I digress. Ever since we left Utah I crave their Swig cookies.…
